Hardware Installation
Note:
Follow the general instructions for installation of the adapter. If
necessary, read the manual of your computer, or ask a specialist for
help.
1. Insert the PCMCIA Adapter into the PCMCIA (Card Bus) Slot of the
Notebooks.
Driver Installation
Windows XP
1. Start Windows after you install the card. The Hardware Wizard will
announce that "New Hardware was found". The driver is found
and installed automatically.
Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000
1. Start Windows after you install the card. The Hardware Wizard
will announce that "New Hardware was found". The driver is
found and installed automatically.
2. Click on "Next".
3. Highlight the line "Install the software automatically
(Recommended)" in the new window, and click on "Next".
4. Insert the driver CD into the drive, and select the option to
"Browse" the CD drive. Locate the folder "NEC" on the CD.
The driver is selected. Confirm the choice by clicking on "Next".
5. After installation of the driver click on "Next" and on "Finish", to
bring the installation to an end.
