Intended Use
DiSEqC 2.0 Switch is a changeover switch, which is used to switch between several satellite antennae. Thus,
the programs of several satellites can be received over a single SAT-receiver.
The device is exclusively designed for the distribution of radio and television signals indoors.
The product may only be used indoors; never outdoors. Do not expose to moisture, for example in bathrooms
or similar spaces.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and involves other risks, such as
short circuits, fire or electrical shocks.
No part of the product may be modified or converted in any way. Do not open the housing!
Always observe the safety instructions.
This product complies with all current National and European requirements.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume liability for any resulting damage.
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incor-
rect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. The warranty will be void in
such cases.
The exclamation mark symbol indicates important information in the operating-
instructions. Prior to starting up the product read the entire operating instructions, they
contain important information on the correct operation.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• Installation and repairs of the device may only be performed by a qualified specialist in compliance with the
statutory VDE Directives. We do not assume any liability for non-professional installation and com-
missioning.
• Extra care should be taken when using the device for the first time. Please follow these operatinginstructions
when doing so.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are connected to this device.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the poten-
tial dangers when using electrical devices. Choose your mounting location so that children cannot play unat-
tended with the device and its connections.
• Only use the product in a moderate climate, never in tropical climates.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Please observe the additional safety instructions in the individual chapters of this manual.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that are not answered
in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or another specialist.
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to safely connect it, consult a
trained technician.
Installation
Choose a location for your device, where it is not exposed to any liquids or objects (e.g.
condensation, roof leaks, watering water, etc.).
The mounting location must allow a safe installation of all connected cables. The connect-
ing cables may not be damaged or squeezed by any objects.
Never expose the device to direct sunlight and avoid the direct proximity to heat sources
(e.g. heating element, other electrical appliances, fireplace, etc.).
To prevent damage to the product and auxiliary equipment, the devices, which are intended
for wall mounting may only be mounted on plane surfaces.
• Mount the device on a plane surface using suitable screws.
• Make sure here that the connections with the wiring are still accessible even after installation.
Connection
Make sure in making the connection that the connecting cable is not pinched or damaged
by sharp edges.
Make absolutely sure that cables are not near to any heat sources (e.g. heaters, other elec-
trical appliances, fireplace, etc.).
The cables must be sufficiently long. Avoid mechanical strain on the cables. This may dam-
age the cables or the device.
The devices to which the product is connected must be switched off during the connection
process.
Use only suitable, shielded satellite cables for connection. The use of incorrect cables may
lead to interference.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. Risk of
injury.
• Connect the Rec. connector to the SAT receiver.
• Connect the LNB ports A, B, etc. to the Universal Single LNB of your satellite antenna.

Maintenance and Care
The device is maintenance-free.
The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical
solutions as these may damage the surfaces of the housing.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
