2.3. Using Accessories

Lighting and ventilation can be started and shut down separately from other functions.

2.3.1. Lighting

The lighting of the sauna room can be wired so that it can be controlled from the control panel. (Max
100 W.)
Switch the lights on / off by pressing the control panel button.

2.3.2. Ventilation

If there is a fan installed in the sauna room, it can be connected to the control unit and be controlled from
the control panel.
Start / stop the fan by pressing the control panel button.

2.3.3. Safety and door switch

• Safety switch (e.g. Harvia SFE) refers to a device integrated or installed above the heater that prevents
the heater from heating up if, for example, a towel (or some other object that might cause a fire hazard)
is placed on it.
• Door switch (e.g. SAB00103) refers to a magnetic switch installed in the sauna room door frame.
Before using the remote control, check the sauna room and the area near the heater. Close the sauna
room door. Closing the door closes the door switch circuit and allows remote control to be activated.
Opening the sauna door opens the door switch circuit (» more information 3.1.).
• The switches are connected according to the instructions of the device to be controlled.
Safety and door switches may only be connected by an electrician.

2.3.4. Remote switch

To remotely control the heater's power input, the control unit can be equipped with an on/off remote
switch (e.g. building automation) (» figure 1) (» more information 3.1.).

2.4. Control panel lock

Press and hold the heater and light buttons for three seconds.
-CL- is shown on the display. Panel lock can be activated only in standby mode. Panel
lock also prevents remote start.
