Mounting instructions for electrically controlled drain valve

Installing equipment set
Remove mounting aid/site protection.
d When the setting has been made,
close the valve cone by pressing it
once.
The bathtub can be filled in this
position only.

Setting overflow height
Press the function key once to query
the functional status. In the second
step when pressing the function key
for 3 seconds the accumulation height
L0 (consecutively) is displayed
(0=25 cm).
Caution: Do not make any settings
during filling.

Note:
No level measurement and no motor function is performed while the accumulation height is configured. If the accumulation height
is no longer changed and the alarm key is not pressed for confirmation, the control automatically adopts the set value after
30 seconds. The control can resume operation again.

When the set accumulation height 1 is
reached, the valve cone 2 opens for
50 sec. If no water flows, the valve
cone 3 closes again. If more water runs
into the bathtub, the valve cone opens
again for 50 sec. when the set height is
reached.
d Actuate the valve cone once to close it
(valve cone is lowered). The bathtub
can be filled in this position only.

Cleaning/maintenance
Normal soap or a mild cleaning agent can be used for regular maintenance and to prevent lime scale on the equipment sets. Never
use scouring agents, abrasive objects or corrosive substances.
Strong stains, even around the drain unit and the siphon, can be removed using typical household cleaner. It should be noted that
the cleaning agent should be rinsed off after the prescribed soaking time. There should be no residue on the components.
Remove and clean cover ring and valve
cover.
b Mount cover ring and valve cover.
b When the function key is pressed once
again, the accumulation height is
increased stepwise by approx. 2.7 cm.
When the accumulation height 9 is
reached, the accumulation height is
reset to 0 by pressing the key again.
e The maximum accumulation height
must be set to 10 cm below the upper
edge of the bathtub.
b When draining the bathtub or using it
as a shower, open the drain by
pressing valve cone 1 (cover ring and
valve cone 2 are located on the same
level).
b Unscrew valve cone and clean under
running water. Replace damaged seal.

c Valve cover and cover ring must be set
to the same height. The height can be
adjusted with the adjusting nut.
c After the selection of the accumulation
height pressing the alarm reset key will
quit the setting range and the selection
is saved at the same time.
Refer to the note when not operating
the alarm reset key.
f Start filling process.
A signal is output and the valve cone
opens when the accumulation height is
reached.
c The drain valve must not be covered
during use.
c A blockage may be eliminated using a
manual cleaning device (plunger) only.
A cleaning pump must not be used.
