• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• The product is intended for use only in dry, enclosed indoor locations. The product
must not get damp or wet!
• Do not apply force when connecting the USB plugs. A USB plug fits in the USB sock-
et only on one of its sides.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room into a
warm one. The condensation that forms can ruin the product under certain circum-
stances. Leave the product switched off and wait until it has reached room tempera-
ture, before using it.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the location of installation and during
transport:
- Dampness or excessive humidity
- Extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-

Recharging of the battery in the touchpad
• Connect the touchpad to a free USB port of your computer or a USB hub with suitable power
adapter using the provided USB cable; switch the touchpad on with the sliding switch ("ON").
• When the battery is charging, a red LED is lit. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED goes
out. Afterwards, disconnect the touchpad from the USB port.
• Charging a spent rechargeable battery takes about 3 - 4 hours.
Charge the touchpad regularly (at least every 3 months), even when you are not using
it in order to prevent a total discharge and damage to the built-in battery.
Connection and start-up
• Use the sliding switch on the left side to switch the touchpad on (switch position "ON"). A blue
LED indicates operational availability.
• Connect the USB receiver to a free USB port on your computer.
• Windows recognises the new hardware automatically and installs the required drivers; they are
integrated in the operating system (Windows XP or higher required).
• Then, the touchpad is ready for operation.
The radio range between touchpad and USB receiver is up to 10 m under optimal condi-
tions. Interferences (e.g. WLAN devices, metal parts, etc.) and the positioning of touch-
pad and USB receiver with respect to each other can reduce this value considerably.
• The upper left corner of the touchpad is used as left mouse button; the upper right corner as
right mouse button. When touching these corners, an LED is lit green to indicate the respective
mouse button function.
• The touchpad allows finger movements of up to 5 fingers depending on the operating system
used.
The two silver buttons "C" and "M" at left and right edge of the housing of the touchpad
do not have any function.
• When you are not using the touchpad, turn it off to prolong the operating/standby time.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist.
You can use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Dust can be very easily removed with a soft, clean
brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use aggressive, chemical or scouring cleaning agents, as this may lead to discolouration or
changes in the material on the surface.
