1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das professionelle Elektret-Richtmikrofon ECM-990P
ist besonders für Aufnahmen geeignet, bei denen
wegen störender Nebengeräusche eine starke Richt-
wirkung erforderlich ist, z. B. bei Außenaufnahmen für
Video- und Filmproduktionen. Zum Betrieb benötigt
das Mikrofon eine Spannung von 9 – 48 V
kann nur an einem Mikrofoneingang mit einer ent-
sprechenden Phantomspeisung betrieben werden.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für elek-
tromagnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Schützen Sie das Mikrofon vor Tropf- und Spritz-
wasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässi-
ger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 °C bis 40 °C). Das
Mikrofon ist nicht wetterfest. Achten Sie deshalb bei
Außenaufnahmen auf Schutz vor Regen und sons-
tigem Niederschlag.
GB Directional Electret Microphone
1 Applications
The professional directional electret microphone ECM-
990P is ideally suited for recordings requiring a high
directivity to minimize interfering ambient noise, e. g. in
case of outdoor recordings for video and film produc-
tions. For operation, the microphone requires a voltage
of 9 – 48 V , i. e. it can only be operated at a micro-
phone input with a corresponding phantom power.
2 Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
Protect the microphone against dripping water and
splash water, high air humidity, and heat (admissi-
ble ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C). The
microphone is not weatherproof. Therefore, it must
be protected against rain or other precipitation
when making outdoor recordings.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.

1 Possibilités d'utilisation
Le microphone électret directionnel professionnel
ECM-990P est particulièrement bien adapté pour des
enregistrements pour lesquels une directivité impor-
tante est nécessaire à cause de bruits ambiants per-
turbateurs, p. ex. pour des enregistrements en extérieur
lors de productions de films ou vidéos. Pour le fonction-
nement, le microphone nécessite une tension de
9 – 48 V , il ne peut donc fonctionner qu'à une entrée
micro avec une alimentation fantôme correspondante.
2 Conseils d'utilisation et de sécurité
Le microphone répond à la norme européenne
89/336/CEE, relative à la compatibilité électroma-
gnétique.
Protégez le microphone de tout type de projections
d'eau, des éclaboussures, d'une humidité élevée et
de la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionne-
ment autorisée : 0 – 40 °C). Le microphone n'est
pas résistant aux intempéries. Pour cette raison, en

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Den Mikrofonhalter auf ein Stativ mit 16-mm-Ge-

winde ( / ") schrauben und das Mikrofon in den

Halter stecken.
2) Das Mikrofon über ein Mikrofonkabel mit XLR-
Stecker an einen Mikrofoneingang mit Phantom-
speisung anschließen.
3) Mit dem versenkten Schiebeschalter lässt sich das
180-Hz-Filter zum Unterdrücken von Störungen im

3 Setting the Microphone into Operation

with XLR plug to a microphone input with phantom
power.
3) Via the recessed sliding switch, the 180 Hz filter for

3 Fonctionnement
1) Vissez le support micro sur un pied avec un filetage
