2.1. General settings

Set output direction
The Olympia NC 430 comes with two output directions for genuine banknotes: front or rear. Counterfeit or not
recognised banknotes are ejected at the front.
To change the standard output direction for genuine notes, you have to turn the unit on and press the
DIR/CLEAR key once. The green LED below the arrows indicates the current output direction.

Set currency
The Olympia NC 430 can test up to two currencies, of which one is always Euro. The second software is
optional and cannot be ordered later due to a necessary exchange of memory components. Nevertheless our
technical department can do this for you: please contact us for the corresponding costs.
If a second currency is installed in the unit, press and hold for 2 seconds the currency key to change to and
activate. The green LED changes from Euro to HOME.
Please note:
1. To test the banknotes, you will have to select the corresponding (programmed) currency. The currrencies
cannot be tested in mixed sequence. Olympia NC 430 is issued in its standard version for Euro only. For
other currencies, please contact your dealer or Olympia.
2. Not all currencies can be tested by putting it in, like the Euro, in all four lengthwise directions. Due to the
alignment of the safety features and/or size of the banknotes limitations are possible. In case of problems
do not hesitate to contact us.
