Function modes
1. Press MODE key for selection of temperature unit
in Celsius (C indication) or Fahrenheit (F indication)

2. Press MODE key for 3s to select the temperature measurement modes
(Sur: Surface mode, bod: Body mode, Cou: Counting peoples mode)
Surface mode Body mode
Status description
1. Waiting: the red dot at the bottom of display is blinking (Fig.1)
2. Low battery indication: the horizontal bar in the middle of
display is blinking (Fig.2)
3. Normal temperature reading (35°C- 37.4°C): the green LEDs
blinking and the instrument emits a sound (Fig.3)

4. Anomalous temperature reading (37.5°C- 42°C): the red LEDS
continuous blinking and a double sound is emitted for 5s (Fig.4).
Do not repeat measurements during this alarm

5. Low temperature reading (<35°C): the red LEDs blinking and
a double sound is emitted (Fig.5)
6. High temperature reading (>42°C): the red LEDs blinking and
a double sound is emitted (Fig.6)

Warnings
1. In order to limit battery consumption, the instrument switches off
automatically after 12 hours of idleness
2. Do not expose the instrument to direct solar radiation
3. Metal parts and hair can affect the infrared sensor
4. Remove glasses during test and align the forehead to IR sensor

1. Open the battery cover and fit the batteries respecting the polaty
or connect the external adapter by using the USB cable
