Intended Use
The speakers are intended for converting electric output signals from audio amplifiers into audi-
ble sound waves and they are only approved for connection to the speaker outputs on such
devices.
May only be used indoors; never outdoors. Do not expose to moisture, for example in bathrooms
or similar spaces.
Any other use than the one described above may lead to damage to the loudspeakers and
involves other risks, such as short-circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. We do not assume liability for any resulting dam-
age.
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information in these
operating instructions, which must be followed. Please read all the instruc-
tions before using this device, they include important information on its cor-
rect operation.
The „hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the
device.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the loudspeakers is
not permitted.
• The manufacturer's safety instructions for devices to which the loudspeakers will be connect-
ed must also be observed. You should, therefore, also carefully read other relevant operating
instructions.
• Do not keep any magnetic storage media such as computer disks, video cassettes or similar
near the loudspeakers as the magnetic field of the loudspeakers may corrupt the information
stored on these media.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hear-
ing.
• Do not expose the loudspeaker to high temperatures, drips or water spray, strong vibrations
or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that are
not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or
another specialist.
Product features
• Bass loudspeaker with light, coated cellulose membranes
• 25mm silk dome tweeter
• Transparent and powerful sound pattern
• Balanced crossover, with quality components
• High load capacity
• Vibration-free front grid with fabric covering
Set-up
Do not place the loudspeaker in the direct vicinity of screens such as televi-
sion sets or computer monitors. The magnetic fields generated by the loud-
speakers may distort the image.
When setting up the loudspeakers, make sure that they are on a stable base
and that you find a correspondingly stable surface to place them on.
Serious injury could be caused if the loudspeakers were to fall down.
To achieve the best possible sound, attempt to implement the following suggestions for the posi-
tioning in your listening room, within the framework of your possibilities:
• Place the loudspeakers in locations that are as equidistant as possible to the location from
where you will be listening (equilateral triangle).
• In rectangular rooms, the loudspeakers should be set up along the short wall, if possible.
• The tweeters should be approximately at the height of your ears.

Try out different installation options and different speaker alignments, so you can find which loca-
tion is best for your listening room.

Connection
• Connect the loudspeaker terminals on the rear of the boxes to the corresponding loudspeak-
er outputs on the amplifier.
- red or „+" connection to the positive loudspeaker connection on the amplifier
- black or „-" connection to the negative loudspeaker connection on the amplifier
• Pay attention to the loading capacity of the amplifier. The total impedance for the connected
loudspeakers must not fall short of the minimum impedance for the amplifier.
Disposal
Maintenance
Only clean the exterior of the loudspeaker with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the housing.
Do not touch the sensitive membranes.

When connecting the loudspeakers, make sure that the connecting cables
are not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
The loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outlets on
audio devices.
Make sure the impedance and power rating indicated in the technical data
complies with the data for the amplifier connected. Otherwise the speakers
or the amplifier may be damaged.
The amplifier to which the loudspeakers are to be connected must be
switched off when you make the connections.
Lay the connection cables so they do not present a tripping hazard.
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
