6 Using the PowerCompressor Plus
The PowerCompressor Plus is supplied partially charged.
➤ Fully charge the PowerCompressor Plus before you use it for the first time
(see Chapter "Charging the PowerCompressor Plus" on page 20).
When the PowerCompressor Plus is not in use, the storage bat-
tery must be re-charged every 3 months, since it will discharge by
itself.
6.1 Charging the PowerCompressor Plus
There are two ways of charging the PowerCompressor Plus:
With the supplied battery charger (see Fig. 12, page 3) connected to a
mains outlet,
With the 12 V charge cable (see Fig. 1.3, page 3) from the 12 V- socket
of a vehicle (e. g. cigarette lighter).
Charging with the battery charger
➤ Switch the Power switch (see Fig. 3.2, page 3) to "OFF".
➤ Insert the plug of the battery charger into the charge socket (see Fig. 3.1,
page 3).

normally charged.
Lit The rechargeable battery must be
recharged.
Lit The storage battery is empty and must be
re-charged immediately.
