Description
Magnetic contact and magnet must be mounted in a front-end-position in
window frames - casements, doors- and doorframes.
CAUTION:
The EN grade 3 recess mount magnetic contact EMK 46 S G3 M
has been developed for the mounting into ferromagnetic
materials.
When installing the snap-in metal recess mount flanges
EF 8/20, a material thickness of 0,5 - 2,3 mm is permitted.
After the mounting is finished, an electrical continuity check must be carried
out (ohmmeter).
Too much force on the housing can harm the glass body of the reed contact.
Therefore be careful when mounting the contact.
