6. Scanning the sensor ID
Start the diagnosis of the sensors. When do-

ing so, start with LF , RF , RR and LR. Press the
Enter key to start diagnosis.
* The flashing tyre indicator shows
the tyre position.
7. Calling up four sensor IDs
Now, you can obtain 4 to 5 sensor IDs (FL,
FR, RR, RL and/or spare tyre) in the scanning
process.

8. OBD II connection
Insert the OBD II module into the OBD II plug
connector on the vehicle and switch on the
ACC/ignition. The following screen is dis-
played:

AUTO ID" and select using the Enter key.

the auto ID
The OBD II module writes the sensor IDs to
the engine control unit (ECU). The reaction
time of the vehicle may vary depending on
the model year. The AirGuard emits a beep
after the sensor information has been input.

You will hear 2 short beeps after the AirGuard
has successfully written the sensor ID in the
engine control unit.
12. Reading the auto ID
Use the arrow buttons to choose "READ
AUTO ID" and select using the Enter key.
13. Process for reading the auto ID
The OBD II module communicates with the
vehicle in order to detect the sensor ID. The
reaction time of the respective vehicle will
vary. The AirGuard emits a beep after the
sensor information has been input.
