Please read these instructions carefully before commissioning and keep it safe for future reference.
SAFTY INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE NOTE
– Before putting the device into operation, check that the voltage data on the device corresponds with
the mains supply.
– Connect the device to a properly earthed outlet only.
– Always ensure that the power plug is securely plugged into the socket. Do not use the device if the
power plug, the power cable or the device itself are defective or damaged.
– This device should not be operated by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental
disabilities, nor by people with insufficient experience or previous knowledge, unless adequate super-
vision is provided or detailed instructions on how to use the device are issued by a responsible person.
– Take care that children do not play with the device.
– Keep the power cable out the reach of children.
– Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of the table or counter, on which the device is located.
– Be sure to clean and dry the heating element, the magnetic switch and the outside of the compart-
ment before connecting to the power outlet.
– Do not cover the steam vent and the top while the device is operating.
– Do not connect the device to the mains supply or use the slide switch when your handy are wet.
– Only touch the instrument using the handles provided to reduce the risk of personal injury from hot
surfaces.
– Only use the accessories supplied by the manufacturer. Inappropriate accessories may result in fire or
electric shock. Do not use sharp objects.
– Do not expose the rice cooker to high temperatures and do not place it on the cooker if on or still hot.
– Operate the device only with a mains voltage of 220 to 240 Volt.
– Before connecting the power plug to the power outlet, always insert the compartment.
– The device's enclosure, the cable and the power plug must not be immersed in water.
– If not used or for cleaning purposes unplug the power plug and allow device to cool down completely.
– Unplug the power plug from the power outlet before cleaning the device and allow rice cooker to cool
down. For rice cooking do not put the compartment on an open flame.
– Do not use the device if the power plug, the power cable or plug are defective or the device itself is no
longer functional.
– Do not use this machine for anything other than cooking or keeping warm rice or for steaming vegeta-
bles. Do not use it for the preparation of soups or for boiling and heating water.
– The appliance is intended exclusively for use in households. Do not use it in the outdoors.
– Place the rice cooker on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
– The accessible surfaces can become hot if device turned on! Beware of hot air escaping from the
steam valve while cooking or when opening the cover of the rice cooker.
– Do not move the rice cooker and do not lift its handle during operation.
– In order to avoid damages, when disconnecting the power plug from the outlet, please pull the plug,
not the cord.
– Connect the device to a separate circuit. An overloading due to multiple connected devices might
disturb the function of this device.
– Ensure that that the compartment's outside as well as the device's enclosure and the heating plate are
clean and dry before starting to cook.
– Please always open the top carefully to avoid scalding by escaping steam.
– Use the compartment only for cooking within this device.
– Do not turn on the rice cooker when the device is empty.
– Do not use sharp or pointy objects for cleaning the compartment.
– Do not remove the sealing ring. Instead Only clean it only using a commercial sponge.
– Never immerse the device's enclosure in water. Do not rinse it under running water.
– After use, disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
