Operation
This product does not connect a smartphone and PC. Only use one of the
USB plugs at a time.
• Open the protecting caps of the USB plug on the card reader.
• Push the button on the card reader in the direction of the micro USB plug. Plug a
micro SD card into the free plug-in location at the USB A plug. The plug-in location
features a notch on the USB A plug. Do not forcibly insert the disk! Only one direction
is correct. Please ensure that the contacts of the micro SD card point downwards.
• Connect the USB A plug of the card reader to a free USB 2.0 port of your computer
or connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB socket of your android smartphone
(from android version 4.x). The operating system automatically recognizes the card
reader and presents the inserted card as conventional removable media drive.
• The LED of the card reader lights up as long as the card reader is connected.
• Wait until read/write access to the memory card is complete.
• Then you can carefully remove the memory card. If the memory card is pulled out
during a read/write access (or the card reader is unplugged from the computer/
smartphone), the data on the memory card can be damaged. It may also be
necessary to format the card in this case.
• Push the button on the card reader in the direction of the micro SD card to remove
the micro SD card from the card reader. The micro SD card can then be removed
from the plug-in location.
• Disconnect the card reader from the connected device if it is not in use and cover
the plug with the protective caps.
Please note that with some operating systems the card reader must be first
disconnected from the PC/smartphone via the operating system, before it
can be unplugged.
Micro SDXC memory cards are supported up to a memory size of 64 GB
with Windows
and MAC operating systems and up to 32 GB with android
®
operating systems.
