2. Safety Instructions
• Using hand tools can be dangerous. Always take care and keep away from children.
• Use accessories designed for this device only. Only use the included battery charger.
• Before drilling holes into a wall, check the presence of an electricity, gas or water supply line.
• Avoid frequent stalling when screwing and drilling as this could damage the battery.
• Protect the device and the battery charger from moisture and humidity.
• Do not use the battery charger in the open air.
• To avoid damaging the battery never use the device with temperatures exceeding 50°C.
• Do not short out the contacts of the battery charger.
• Respect the polarity when charging the battery.
• Never throw the battery into the fire.
3. General Guidelines
• Connect the battery charger to an alternating current of max. 230VAC / 50Hz.
• Do not use a defective device.
• Do not use the device immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device
against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
• Secure the work piece by using a clamping device or a vice.
• Do not wear jewellery or loose clothing that could be caught by moving parts.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Keep your workplace tidy: untidiness can cause accidents.
• Be sure to have sure footing, especially when working on ladders and scaffolding.
• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to damage, crash, etc. Using the device in
an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
