4 I N S T A L L A T I O N
Installation in a frost-free room so that inspection from all sides is possible. Seal only
using PTFE tape when using galvanised water connections. Do not use hemp.
Stress-free (torque-free), vibration-free installation is required, no additional
loads due to piping or equipment are permitted.
In accordance with the AD-2000 data sheet S3/0, no explicit additional loads are
considered for pipe connectors. Connection of the pipe must take place according to
AD 2000 data sheet HP 100 R.
Wall mounting is necessary for COSMO MAG-H + S 8 – 25 (available as an accessory).

Integration in the circuit, preferably on the suction side of the circulation pump
in the return to the boiler or the chiller. With solar systems, the integration is on the
pressure side of the pump.
Please note: With return temperatures > 70 °C an auxiliary tank (VSG) is necessary
(this applies particularly for solar systems with short pipe runs to the tank, as for example
with a roof control centre); with return temperatures < 0 °C it is recommended.
COSMO MAG-S vessels are always fitted with the connection pointing upwards (venting). If
not possible for a large MAG-S: install horizontally or floor-standing with a side connection
(venting provided).
