Battery installation

Observe the correct polarity of the batteries during installation; if you insert the batteries incorrectly, the device will not
work.
Correct use
Correct use of the method is the key to the accuracy of the test, otherwise it may cause measurement errors. Because infrared
measurement has high requirements for the surrounding environment, please use it according to the following operations.
1. When measuring the body temperature, the instrument should be pointed to the center of the forehead, above the center
of the eyebrow and kept vertical. The measuring part should not be covered by hair. The distance between the instrument and
the forehead is recommended to be about 3cm-5cm
2. When the measured person comes from the place with large difference in the measured ambient temperature, he shall stay
in the measurement environment for at least 5 minutes, and then measure after the temperature is consistent with the
ambient temperature, otherwise the measurement results will be affected.
3. If the forehead of feverish patients is cold, sweating, and other cooling measures are taken, the measurement results will
be low, so it should be avoided in this case.
4. When the product is taken out from the place with great difference from the environment to be tested for use, the
instrument shall be placed under use for 20 minutes before use.
5. The surrounding environment of the tested person shall be stable, and it is not allowed to test in places with large air flow,
such as fan, air conditioner outlet, etc.
6. Do not use the instrument outdoors or in a sunny place.
Setting
A short press on the "set" button toggles between the "surface" inanimate body measurement mode and the "human body"
body temperature measurement mode. The product is specially designed for measuring body temperature, for this reason
this mode is preferred. However, the device can also measure, for example, the temperature of food, solids or liquids. Use
the "surface" inanimate surface measurement mode for this measurement.
1. Setting the temperature units. Press and hold the "set" button for 5 seconds, the temperature units (Celsius / Fahrenheit)
will change on the screen.
2. Review of recent measurements. After each measurement, the device automatically records data, up to the last 32
measurements can be viewed. To view the stored values, select +, -.
