stop playing, then press ESP button to se-
lect ESP ON or ESP OFF.
13. "1~6 " NUMBER BUTTON
A. RADIO Mode
. To memorize the current frequency by hold-
ing any one of number button -6 for more
than sec.
2. Press number button -6 to recall the preset
station.
B. CD / MP Mode.
)  / PLAY BUTTON
PLAY / PAUSE: Press this button to pause or
resume the CD / MP playing. During pause
process, the "PAUSE" flashes on display.
2) 2 / INT (INTRODUCTION) BUTTON (CD
Only)
During CD playing, press INT button to scan
the track. Scanning will stay at each track be
played.
)  / RPT (REPEAT) BUTTON
During CD / MP playing, press RPT button
to repeat one track (the current track).
4) 4 / RDM (RANDOM) BUTTON (CD Only)
During CD playing, press RDM button to
play in a random order.
5) 5 / STOP BUTTON
During CD / MP playing, press STOP but-
ton to stop playing.
6) 6 / +5 BUTTON
At the CD / MP mode, press +5 button to
select the track +5 or track +0.

14. BAND BUTTON

At the RADIO mode, press the BAND but-
ton to select the desired wave band among
FM, FM2, FM, AM and AM2.
15. CD LOADING SLOT
Load a compact disc through this slot. When
a disc is loaded, it will be played Automati-
cally.
16. PTY GOTO BUTTON
- At the CD / MP play mode, press GOTO
button to select the desired track number.
- Press GOTO button continuously, the display

- Press number button -5 to select the de-
sired number e.g. , 2, , 4, 5.
- Press "+5" button to select the number over
5 e.g. 6, 7, 8, 9, 0.
Example: You want to select track 8. Firstly,
press GOTO button continuously until the
display shows "-", then press "+5" button
and number "" button to obtain 8 (namely 
+ 5 = 8).
17. EQ BUTTON
At any time, press EQ button to select the
desired sound effect among FLAT, CLASSIC,
ROCK and POP.
18. RESET BUTTON
If the unit is in malfunction or hang-up, you
may press RESET button to resume it with a
pointed object such as ballpoint pen.
19. TA BUTTON
ТА Standby Reception allows the unit to
switch temporarily to Traffic Announcement
(TA) from the current source (another FM
station, CD, or other connected compo-
nents).
ТА Standby Reception will not work if you
are listening to an AM station. Press TA to
activate TA Standby Reception.
When the current source is FM, the TP indi-
cator either lights up or flashes
- If the TP indicator lights up, TA Standby
Reception is activated.
If a station starts broadcasting a traffic an-
nouncement, "TRAFFIC" appears on the
display, and this unit automatically tunes in
to the display, and this unit automatically
tunes in to the station. The volume level and
the traffic announcement can be beard.
- If the TP indicator flashes, TA Standby Re-
ception is not vet activated since the station
being received does not provide the signals
used for TA Standby Reception.
To activate TA Standby reception, you need
to tune in to another station providing these
signals. Press >> :or << 9 search for such a
station. When a station providing these signals
is tuned in, the TP indicator stops flashing and
remains lit. Now TA Standby Reception is ac-
tivated. When the current source is other than
FM, the TP indicator lights up.
