1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the Hama Slimline keyboard.
These operating instructions contain information for operating your keyboard and also provides
answers to questions on certain special keys. Please keep these instructions in a safe location for future reference.

Note
Unlike installing via a PS/2 port, you need not switch off your PC with a USB connection.

3. SPECIAL KEYS

Switch off your PC.
Plug the keyboard PS/2 connector (purple) into the PS/2
keyboard interface on your PC.
Switch on your computer and boot the system.
Connect the USB connector to the USB port on your PC.
Depending on the Windows version, you may be asked for drivers.
If this is the case, insert your Windows installation CD in the CD-ROM drive.
Switches the computer to hibernate if it supports Power Management
Hibernate and this is activated. This protects your data and saves energy.
This hotkey does not work if Power Management is not activated.
Play/Pause Plays back a media fi le or pauses it. Press the key again to restart playback.
Stop Stops media fi le playback.
Decrease volume Reduces the volume. Press and hold the key to reduce volume faster.
Increase volume Increases the volume. Press and hold the key to increase volume faster.
Mute switch Switches sound off. Press again to switch sound on.
E-Mail Starts the default e-mail program.
Favourites Opens the Favourites bar in Internet Explorer.
Back Goes back one page.
WWW Starts the default Web browser.
Forward Goes one page forward.
Update Updates the display of an active Web site or a certain window.
