Relative value measurement
Some functions support the relative value measurement. The measurement method is as
follows:
1. Set the meter to the desired function.
2. Make the probe contact with the circuit to be compared in subsequent measurement,
after which the meter will display a reading.
3. Press the "REL" button to save the reading as a reference value, and enter the relative
value measurement mode. At this time, the reading will become zero and a " △ △ " symbol
will appear on the screen.
4. In the subsequent measurement, the screen will display the relative value, i.e. difference
between reference value and measured value.
Relative value = measured value - reference value
5. Press the "REL" button again, after which the meter will return to normal operation and
the " △ △ " symbol will disappear.
Note:
In case of relative value measurement, the measured actual value shall not exceed the
maximum measurable value of the range; otherwise, it's required to select a larger range.

Servicing

Automatic power-off
1. When the meter is out of use or stays at a position for more than 15 min, the meter will
be powered off and enter the sleep mode automatically.
2. After automatically powered off, the meter can be wakened by turning the function
switch or pressing the button once.
Maintenance
Do not attempt to repair or service the meter unless you are a qualified professional
technician and have sufficient instructions for calibration, performance testing and repair,
except for replacing batteries and fuse. The calibration is recommended to be performed
every 12 months.
Wipe the casing regularly with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not use abrasives or
solvents. If the terminal is dirty or wet, it may reduce the accuracy of reading.

replace the old battery with a new one of the same model and ensure the correct polarity.
