Before installation
1. Please read, follow and keep these instructions.
2. Please pay attention to all warnings.
3. Clean the device only with a dry cloth.
4. Install and use the device only as specified by the manufacturer.
5. Don't damage any safeguards on connectors or cables.
6. Use only accessories or parts which are specified by the manufacturer or which are within the scope of
supply.
Installation
1. Use the contained screws for mounting the wall-/ceiling-bracket.
2. Please check if the place (wall or ceiling) can carry the weight of the camera. Please regard to the
permissible temperature range of the camera.
3. Don't let the cabling get in caught to something and don't let the cable housing get damaged. This can
cause a defect.
4. During installation don't admit people on the installation place. If there are objects under the installation
place, please remove them before you start the installation. The objects can be damaged by falling
installation materials.
5. Connect the power cable with the required voltage (see product specification) and connect the video line
with a monitor.
6. For the focal length adjustment on the lensyou can turn the external adjustment-ring. By use of
magnetism the lens inside the camera will be adjusted. Further information you can find in the chapter
„Lens adjustment".
7. Don't open the cover of the camera. Take care that no weather, dirt, humidity or wetness gets into the
camera. High humidity inside of the camera can form water condensation. This can affect the image
quality and also damages on the camera.
8. To configure the camera please use the OSD adjustment (On Screen Display). Further information you
can find in the chapter „On Screen Menu". If necessary first open the point LANGUAGE and chose the
menu language you want.
9. Configure the camera by the OSD adjustment. You can finish it by clicking on the button EXIT and close
the cover panel of the OSD adjustment.
