Do not over tighten fittings or adapters, and tightening by hand is
enough.
Ensure solvents are not excessively applied to fittings as this could run into
O-ring and create sealing problems.
Do not plug in / turn on the device when the pool is empty, or the
water flow has been blocked.
The filter not meant to be used during bath. Remove it from the
outlet for that time!
Protecting the system
Notice! The system must be installed so that it is protected against freezing temperatures and
water overflow from the pool / hot tub. This can be done by e.g. building an insulated pump house
for it. The following things must be taken into consideration when designing such house.
The pumphouse must have good drainage to allow waterflow away.

During summertime the pumphouse must have good ventilation, so that the inner
•
temperature does not go over 40℃, since that than overheat damage the pump.
If you are using the product during wintertime and the temperature can go under 0℃, then
•
the house must be heated with e.g. frost guard heater. We do not recommend usage in
wintertime.
The pumphouse must be designed for easy access for using and maintenance of the
•
product.
If you will build such pumphouse, it is recommended to test run the system on the base of the
house, before finishing the walls and the roof.

FILLING THE TANK - See page 63
Installing sand
If you are using sand as the filter medium. Please use quartz sand with grain size between
0,5 ja 1,0 mm. Fill about 2/3 of the tank (15) with about 19 kg of sand.
Check that the central pipe (16) is centered into the tank (15)

sand
- Fill half of the tank (15) with water before pouring the sand in to soften the fill
- Even out the sand
