Installation der Geräte im Schrank
Die Geräte werden getrennt vom Schrank geliefert und
sollte im Zuge der Installation des Schrankes mitinstalliert
werden.
Der Lieferumfang des Schrankes bzw. der Geräte enthält
alle Montagematerialen, die sich jedoch auf die Befesti-
gung der Geräte im Schrank, sowie den DC-Bus und
dessen Abdeckung beschränken. Bitte prüfen Sie nach
Erhalt der Lieferung den Lieferumfang des Schrankes
auf folgende Teile:
• 3x Sechskantbolzen mit Gewindestift M3x45
• 1x DC-Abdeckung (Plexiglas)
• 2x Kupferschiene (50x2x900 mm), gelabelt mit „+" und
„-", mit jeweils:
» 3x Schraubenset M8x25
• 6x Rändelmutter M3
• 24x Schraube M5, vernickelt, mit U-Scheibe
• 5x Netzwerkkabel 50 cm
• 1x Share-Bus-Kabel, zweipolig, mit 6 Steckern
Zwecks besserer Zugänglichkeit sollten die Geräte vor
der Installation des Schrankes und dessen AC-Anschluß
eingebaut werden. Folgende Schritte:
1. Geräte im Schrank plazieren
Schieben Sie die Geräte nacheinander in die vorgesehe-
nen Positionen. Siehe dazu auch die Layout-Zeichnung
weiter hinten in diesem Dokument. Es empfiehlt sich, das
Mastergerät (mit Anzeige), ganz oben zu positionieren,
für leichteren Zugang zwecks Bedienung.
Die Frontplatte muß nach dem Einschieben auf den ver-
tikalen Lochstreifen im Schrank aufliegen. Befestigen Sie
die Geräte an der Front mittels der Langlochbohrungen
links und rechts von den Griffen und den vernickelten
M5-Schrauben, je 4 Stück pro Gerät.
2. Kupferschienen montieren
Die Kupferschienen werden vertikal an den DC-Anschlüs-
sen der Geräte verschraubt. Sollte irgendwann einmal,
zwecks Überprüfung oder Reparatur, ein Gerät entnom-
men werden, können die anderen installiert bleiben und
der Schrank weiterhin betrieben werden.
Es ist vorgesehen, jenes Ende der Kupferschienen mit
den Bohrungen für die 3x M8-Befestigungssets (Schrau-
be, Federring, U-Scheiben, Mutter) unten zu plazieren,
von der Querstrebe gestützt. Achten Sie darauf, die mit
„+" und „-" gelabelten Schienen auf der korrekten Seite zu
plazieren. Von hinten gesehen ist der DC-Minus („-") links.
Die Kupferschienen werden seitlich von außen an die DC-
Anschlüsse geschraubt (siehe Darstellung unten). Die
dazu benötigten Schrauben sind an den Geräten bereits
vorhanden und nicht Teil des Lieferumfangs des Schran-
kes. Es wird empfohlen, erst alle M6-Schraubensets
durch die Bohrungen zu führen und die Muttern locker
draufzuschrauben, bevor alle fest angezogen werden.

Installing the devices
The devices are delivered separate from the cabinet and
should be installed along with the cabinet.
The scope of delivery of the cabinet includes all material
for installation of the devices, the DC bus and the DC
cover.
After unpacking the cabinet verify the scope of delivery
for following content:
• 3x hexagon bolt with threaded bolt M3x45
• 1x DC cover (acrylic glass)
• 2x DC bus bar (copper, 50x2x900 mm), labelled with
"+" and "-", each fitted with a set of:
» 3x screw set M8x25
• 6x knurled nut M3
• 24x screw M5, nickel plated, with washer
• 5x Network cable 50 cm
• 1x Share bus cable, two wire, with 6 plugs
Due to better accessibility, it is recommended to install
the devices before connecting the cabinet to AC supply.
1. Placing the devices in the cabinet
Insert the units from top to bottom into the dedicated
positions. Also see front the view drawing below. It's rec-
ommend to place the master unit (with display) in topmost
position, for better accessibility during manual handling.
After insertion, the front plate of every unit must rest on
the vertical hole-punched mount strip. Fix the units with
the long hole drillings next to the grips, using the nickel
plated M5 screws (4x per unit).
2. Mounting the DC bus bars
The bus bars are installed vertically and screwed to the
DC terminals of the devices. In case a device has to
be removed from the cabinet for a check or repair, the
remaining units can continue operation.
It's intended to put that end of the bus bars with the drill-
ings for the 3x screw sets at the bottom, letting it rest on
the horizontal support bar.
Mind the labels "+" and "-" on the bus bars to put them
into correct lef/right position. The DC minus ("-") is on the
left, when seen from behind.
The bus bars are screwed the DC terminal blades from
the outside, means on the left and right, as shown in the
figure below. The screws are included with the devices,
not with the cabinet. It's recommended to first put all
6 (14) pieces of M6 screw sets (screw, washers, lock
washer, nut) through the holes and put the nut, then
tighten all nuts.
