Instructions for your safety: To ensure your safety when operating the
Acti-Linea, please make sure that no cable is trapped or restricted.
Connecting the IR base station:
Please remove the IR remote control from the IR base station (See fig. 1).
Laying the control cable:
The control cable should be plugged into the socket of the IR base
station (See fig. 2) Please make sure you hear a 'click' to ensure the
connection.
Positioning the base station:
The base station can either be placed on a bedside table as supplied, or
alternatively, it can be attached to the bed frame by screwing the
holding bar provided on to the box.
Starting up the control unit
(base station and hand switch)
Please use 4 batteries type AAA / LR3 / UM4 to operate the IR remote
control. (See fig. 3) To activate the base station, press the black
"On/Reset" button once (See fig. 4). If your Acti-Linea has not been used
for a long time it may be necessary to press the grey button once in order
to re-activate the electronics. If you have followed the above
instructions, carried out the safety checks, connected the base station to
the electric mains, and activated the electronics, your Acti-Linea is now
ready for use.
Caution: Before connecting the base station to the house mains supply, please check the
voltage of your mains supply against the input voltage stated on the rating plate of the base
station. You will find it on the underside of the base station.
Important: The mains voltage in your home and the input voltage on the rating plate must be
identical. If not, please do not plug the base station in. Contact your Acti-Linea supplier and ask
for advice.
Using the IR remote control
There are five buttons arranged in a circle in the upper part of the IR
remote control (See fig. 5). Buttons 1 and 2 select the part of the base
(head or foot) you would like to adjust (info screen lights up). Pushing
buttons 3 and 4 will adjust the selected parts chosen by buttons 1 and 2.
Button 5 lowers the action into the flat position.

If you ordered a Twin bed system (2 separate bases) with IR remote
controls you need to select a different "IR channel" for each base and its
station. Please put the frequency switch into a different position for the
two bases and their stations (See fig. 6).
