Bidirectional VGA switch

Intended use
The product is used to switch video signals from one or two connected devices connected to
the VGA cable. The switch works bidirectionally and can be used to switch between two inputs
to one output or from one input between two outputs. The product supports a resolution up to
1080p/60Hz. A USB power cable is included in the delivery scope. The connection is made to
a free USB port (5 V/DC 500 mA).
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these
operating instructions as well.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe in particular the safety
instructions. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Always observe the safety instructions and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked
or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.
This poses a risk of injury.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
process may take several hours.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be carried out by a technician
or a specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
Setup
• Turn off all the devices that you wish to connect before connecting any cables.
• The connections can be made as follows:
Connect a computer to two monitors
- Connect a VGA cable from the computer to the VGA connector.
- Connect one VGA cable to each of the VGA 1 and VGA 2 connectors.
- Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the monitors.
Connect two computers to one monitor
- Connect one VGA cable from the computers to each of the VGA 1 and VGA2 VGA
connectors.
- Connect a VGA cable to the VGA connector and the monitor.
The maximum VGA cable length (per VGA connector) must not exceed 1.5 m.
• Connect the circular connector of the USB power cable to the 5 V/DC connector. Connect
the USB A plug to a suitable USB port (at least USB 2.0) on your computer or another USB
power source (5 V/DC 500 mA).
• Turn on the computer and monitor. The output can only be made on a monitor or from a
computer. Press the Shift key at the top of the switch to switch to either the computer or
monitor to be used.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the repeater from all connected devices before cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the case or cause the product to malfunction.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
