Intended use
The product features a DisplayPort input and three DisplayPort outputs. The product provides the option
of connecting three screens/projectors with a single DisplayPort. Power is supplied via the power adapter.
The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for
purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause
hazards such as short circuits, fire and electric shocks. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a
safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Explanation of symbols

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorized
use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
• Use suitable padding to protect the surfaces of valuable furniture against scratches and dents.
If necessary, attach the included rubber feet to the bottom of the product.
• Make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Only use the power adapter that came with the product.
• Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply.
Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on the power adapter
complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• The power adapter must never be plugged in or disconnected when your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use
the grips on the plug.
• When setting up the product, ensure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by
sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses
a risk of injury.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during storms.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. The plug-in power adapter also
involves the risk to life from an electric shock! Allow the product to reach room temperature
before connecting it to an appliance. This may take several hours.

• Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the
product. If liquid or an object does enter the interior of the device, power down the respective
socket (e.g. switch off the circuit breaker), and then remove the mains plug from the mains
socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Do not touch the power adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal
electric shock! First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the mains adapter is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then
switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so the socket is fully disconnected).
You can then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty power
adapter in an environmentally friendly manner and discontinue use. Replace it with a power
adapter of the same design.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or an authorized repair
centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
Connection
Turn off all devices you wish to connect and remove their mains plugs from the mains socket.
• Connect the plug to a DisplayPort socket on a PC or another suitable source device.
• Connect up to three monitors/projectors to the product.
If you connect one single 4K monitor/projector, the product can output a 4K signal with a
frequency of 60 Hz. In such case there will be no signal output on the two remaining ports.
If you connect two or three 4K monitors/projectors, the product can output a 4K signal with a
frequency of 30 Hz on all ports.
• Connect the DC plug of the power adapter to the DC socket.
• Insert the power adapter into a normal household mains socket.
• Connect the connected devices to the mains if necessary. Then switch on the connected devices.
• Manage the devices connected via your computer operating system.
If there are any problems, press the SCAN button to reset the product.
Care and cleaning
• Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the connected devices and disconnect the mains adapter
from the socket.
• The product does not contain any components that require maintenance. Never attempt to open or
disassemble it.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household waste.
Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
