with Remote Control
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to operation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
This 5 m light strip with 270 LEDs is used for deco-
rative lighting. The remote control allows to select
various control programmes, e. g. running light,
change of colour, constant lighting in one colour.

2 Safety Notes

The components of the LED set (controller, remote
control, power supply unit and LED light strip)
correspond to all relevant directives of the EU
(marking

tion of the unit may cause an electric
shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:
G
The LED set is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C). However, the light
strip is protected against humidity (IP 65) and
therefore also suitable for damp locations.
G
Do not set the controller into operation and
immediately disconnect the power supply unit
from the socket if

3 Mounting and Connection

1) Fix the LED light strip (6) at the desired place by
means of the adhesive foil on the rear side.
2) Interconnect the plug (4) of the controller (2) with
the plug (5) of the LED strip. The positive and the
negative signs of the plugs must point towards
each other (see arrows a and b in the figure
below). Otherwise the LEDs cannot light up.
3) The controller may be fixed at a suitable place
with two screws.
4) Fix the infrared sensor (3) with adhesive tape so
that it can receive the control signals from the
remote control without obstacles.
5) Connect the supplied power supply unit to the
power supply jack (1) of the controller and the
power supply unit to a socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz).

4 Operation

4.1 Remote control
1) The remote control is supplied with a battery
inserted. An insulating foil between the battery
and the battery contacts prevents the battery
from being discharged during storage. Prior to
the first operation, remove the foil from the bat-
tery support on the rear side of the remote con-
trol. Otherwise operation of the remote control is
not possible.
2) When actuating a button, always hold the
remote control in the direction of the sensor (3).
There must be visual connection between the
remote control and the sensor.
3) If the range of the remote control decreases
(7 to 10 m), replace the battery. For this pur-
pose, on the rear side of the remote control,
push the small bar with the groove to the right
and at the same time remove the battery sup-
port.
1.
2.
A 3 V button cell of type CR 2025 is required.
When inserting, pay attention that the positive
pole of the button cell shows upwards in the
support.
If the remote control is not used for a longer
period, remove the battery to prevent damage to
the remote control due to battery leakage.
Dead batteries must not be placed in
the household waste. To protect the
environment, always take them to a
special waste disposal (e. g. collection
container at your retailer).
