Intended use
The product serves as a junction box for network connections using a patch cable. Two inde-
pendent RJ45 sockets are available.
Suitable network cables (only solid, single-core wires suitable for the connector contacts of the
network outlet) should be used for wiring. Connect the wires to the contacts using a suitable
tool (LSA punch-down tool).
The network outlet can be installed in flush-mounted and surface-mounted boxes.
For safety and compliance reasons, the product must not be converted or modified in any way.
If you use the product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be
damaged. Moreover, improper use can lead to risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks,
etc. Please read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. Please include
these operating instructions when you pass the product on to a third party.

al damages resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the
information in these operating instructions regarding the proper use of the
product. Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and
void.
a) General information
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permissible
for safety and approval reasons.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are
connected to this product.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed!
• Consult a qualified technician, if you are not sure how to operate or how to safely
connect the equipment.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work should only be carried out by an expert
or a specialist workshop.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other technicians.
b) Connection and Installation
• Work carried out improperly may result in electrical shock if the network outlet is
to be mounted near voltage carrying wires (or a power socket). In case of doubt,
engage a professional to install and connect the network outlet.
This is necessary, in particular, if the network outlet is to be installed next to a
power outlet or a switch or similar (for example in adjacent flush-mounted boxes).
• Make sure no cables/wires are damaged when drilling holes/tightening screws, in
case a surface-mounted box is to be installed.
• This product is only to be installed and used indoors in dry conditions. The product
must not get damp or wet.
• Protect the product from exposure to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations and
solvents. Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• Do not use the product in rooms with adverse environmental conditions, where
combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a danger of
explosion!
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible damage,
- has tipped over and water got into it,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.

Disposal
The product must not be disposed of with the household waste. Dispose of an un-
serviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
