Sort the laundry according to the international symbols shown on the label; if this is missing, sort
according to the type of material.
Start by ironing the garments that require the lowest temperature.

SETTING THE ANTI-SCALE FILTER DURATION
After inserting the anti-scale filter, you can set its duration on the basis of the hardness of the water used
for ironing.
Turn the ON/OFF switch (5) to ON. Indicator light 8I (corresponding to the cotton temperature) will switch
on, and the iron will begin to heat up. In this phase, you can set the duration of the anti-scale filters.
If the water used is fairly hard (i.e. from 9°f to 18°f), no modification is needed as the filter duration is
already set on «Set filter 1».
If the water is soft (i.e. up to 8°f), set the duration on «Set filter 2» as follows:
1. Press button 8B for at least 2 seconds.
2. The iron will emit a sound and the Set Filter 1 indicator light (8A) will switch on. At the same time, the
indicator light for the selected temperature (8E, 8F, 8I or 8H) will switch off.
3. To alter the setting of the filters, briefly press button 8B. The «Set Filter 2» indicator light (8C) will now
come on.
To confirm, keep button 8B pressed for at least 1 second. The iron will emit a sound and the «Set Filter
2» indicator light (8C) will switch off. This means the duration setting has been correctly selected. The
previously selected temperature indicator light will now automatically come back on again, flashing.
Wait for the light to stop flashing before using the iron.

WARNING! DO NOT pour diluting agents, scented liquids or
descaling agents into the reservoir as the use of these
substances can damage the product.
WARNING! Do not use water from dryers, air-conditioners or
tumble dryers, filtered water with water softeners, or
rainwater.
The reservoir may contain some water as each product is tested before being put on the market.
FILLING THE TANK
Check that the power supply cable with plug (7) is plugged into the socket.
Open the water fill cover (1).
Pour water into the tank (3) very slowly to avoid overflowing.
Do not exceed the maximum filling level indicated.
Close the water fill cover (1).
