Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the HDMI to HDMI & VGA with Audio
Converter. This product has been designed to provide trouble
free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year
warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct
use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference. The LINDY HDMI to HDMI & VGA with Audio
Converter has been developed to provide a simple to use
solution for connecting HDMI equipment such as a PC to two

display devices one with an HDMI interface, the other with VGA
and analogue audio interfaces.


Supports resolutions up to 1920x1080p 60Hz 4:4:4 8bpc
(HDMI) / 60Hz RGB (VGA)

Direct signal conversion, no scaling

Simultaneous output of HDMI and VGA signals

HDCP 1.4 compatible (no output on VGA port for HDCP
content)

HDMI Digital Audio Pass-through, supports Dolby, DTS and
PCM formats via the HDMI output

HDMI PCM Audio is converted to Analogue - Dolby & DTS
are not supported via the analogue output
Installation and Operation

We recommend using two displays with the same native
resolution. In mixed resolution installations the converter will
use the native resolution of the VGA display.

Connect your HDMI source device using a good quality
cable up to 10m in length.

Connect your HDMI and VGA display/projector using good
quality cables up to 10m in length.

If required a standard 3.5mm or 3.5mm to 2 x Phono/RCA
cable can be connected between the converter and a
display or amplifier.

Connect the supplied 5V power supply, power on your
devices and select the relevant input on the displays.

The HDMI output of your source device is now shown
directly on both connected display devices.
Please Note: it is not possible to output HDCP protected
content via the VGA interface.

INSTALLATION & BETRIEB

Verwenden Sie nach Möglichkeit Displays mit der gleichen
Auflösung. Bei unterschiedlicher Auflösung wird die des
VGA-Displays an die HDMI Quelle durchgereicht

Unterstützt hochwertige Anschlusskabel bis 10m Länge

Schließen Sie das Netzteil und die Geräte an und wählen
Sie an Ihren Monitoren den entsprechenden Eingang

Bei nicht HDCP geschütztem HDMI Eingangssignal sollten
nun beide angeschlossenen Displays das gleiche Bild
zeigen

Wenn kein Analogaudio ausgegeben wird müssen Sie Ihre
HDMI-Quelle auf LPCM-Audioausgabe einstellen
HINWEIS:
HDCP-kopiergeschützte HDMI-Signale dürfen
nicht in hoher Auflösung in ein VGA-Signal gewandelt werden
weil VGA-Signale nicht HDCP-kopiergeschützt sind.
