Disposal:
Old electronic equipment must be brought to public connection points and must not be
disposed of as household waste.
Batteries must not be disposed of in the household waste. You are legally obliged, as a final
consumer, to return used batteries. You can return batteries after use to the sales point or the
immediate vicinity (public collection points or retail outlets, for example, without charge).
Batteries containing harmful agents are marked with the "crossed out waste bin" and with one
of the chemical symbols Cd (= battery contains cadmium), Hg (= battery contains mercury) or
Pb (= battery contains lead).
Batteries may only be returned in a drained to the used battery bin at the retail outlet and at
public disposal outlets. Batteries which are not completely drained must be prevented from
short circuiting. Short circuiting can be prevented by taping over the terminals with adhesive
tape.
