Move Light rollator
The Move Light is a rollator walking aid that has four wheels, with swivel front wheels, that is easy to fold away, and that
you can take everywhere.
Checking on delivery
If your rollator has been damaged in transit, contact your
dealer immediately.
Deploying/Folding
To fold up the rollator, raise the seat, remove the basket and
pull on the belt (to straighten up the tube). Once it is folded,
the rollator is easy to carry.
When you want to use it again, push the tube downwards
until the rollator is fully deployed and locked, and put the
basket back into place. Lower
the seat and put it back onto the
locking system. The rollator is ready
for use.
Be careful not to catch your fingers
when opening and locking the
rollator.
The Move Light is not delivered in
the assembled state. The handles
should be mounted in the tubes of
the frame as shown. Unfold the
rollator prior to assembly.
Adjusting the height of the handle
The height of the sliding handles can be adjusted by means
of the adjuster knob that is located immediately below them.
Unscrew the knob and remove the bolt from the other side of
the tube. You can then adjust the height of the handles. Then
put the bolt back into the hexagonal opening and tighten
the knob by hand. The right and left handles must be fixed
at the same height.
Then mount the seat back by pressing on its buttons while
engaging the right and left tubes in one another. Check that
the pins are inserted into the holes.
Brakes
Quick braking
To brake, pull the brake lever up
towards the handle.
To lock the wheels, push the lever
down as far as it will go.
To immobilize the rollator, push the
handles downwards carefully until they lock. You can use
this function, for example, when you want to sit on the seat
of the rollator. To set off again, pull the brake levers upwards
to release the brakes.
Basket
The basket is designed solely for carrying objects. Do not,
under any circumstances, load it to in excess of its maximum
capacity of 5 kg.
Seat
Before using the seat, take the following precautions:
- The rollator should be on a solid and flat surface.
- It should be immobilized by means of the brake.
Caution
Before sitting on the seat of the rollator, it is essential that you
check the brakes are on.
Always sit straight on the seat; do not lean to one side and
not sit askew.
The seat of the rollator is designed solely for a short rest, and
is not to be used as a chair.
Always unfold the rollator before using it.
Before you use it, systematically check that the brake levers
are pushed vertically downwards to their "on" positions.
Always use the rollator on solid and flat terrain. The tyres
might stick in channels or holes in the terrain: give manhole
covers, gratings, and other obstacles a wide berth.
Always press evenly on the two handles and apply both
brakes at the same time.
Brake very cautiously, in particular when in reverse.
Dirty, damp, icy or snowy ground or flooring gives rise
to a risk of skidding, and reduces the effectiveness of the
brakes.
Do not overload the rollator. The maximum load in the
basket is 5 kg.
When you are not using the rollator, apply the immobilization
brake to prevent it from rolling.
When exposed to sunlight, to heat or to cold, the rollator
can take on ambient temperature. Check the temperature of
its surfaces, in particular before you sit on the seat.
Cleaning and maintenance
The rollator can be cleaned by hand with a mild soap or
with a household detergent.
Before you use it, systematically check that the brakes are
operating properly. You can have the brakes adjusted by
your specialist dealer.
Regularly check that the rollator is in a good state of repair,
e.g. check for play or slack in the parts, for stability, for
damage, or for improperly fastened elements. If in doubt,
do not use the rollator and contact your specialist dealer.
