seconds, stops for 3 seconds, and so on. This function is recommended
when cleaning the glass jar.
4. To quit operating in SMOOTHIE or ICE mode, press the appropriate function
button again or turn the rotary switch into the OFF position.
5. Pull the power plug when not in use.

Application Notes

To achieve the best result when pureeing solid ingredients place small
portions into the glass jar.
First cut solid ingredients into small pieces (2 - 3 cm). Start with small amount
and add gradually more and more food through the filling hole in the lid.
For stirring solid or very thick ingredients use the blender in impulse mode to
avoid the blade getting stuck.
Do not switch off the unit by removing the glass jar. Always use the rotary
switch or the function buttons. Always place your hand on top of the blender
while operating.
After using the blender, always move the switch into the "OFF"-position and
pull out the mains plug.
Operate the motor for a maximum of 60 seconds and let the motor unit cool
down for 60 seconds
Never detach the assembled glass jar from the blade when it is filled because
the contents will flow out.
Use
Smoothies are fruit juices that are made of whole fruits. In con-
trast to other fruit juices, a smoothie consists of the whole fruit
except for the peeling and the cores.
For ice crushing and short, powerful impulse movements.
For manually blending liquids. This provides a better control of
the mixing result.
