MOUNTING:
1) Screw the tripod (1) onto the spotting scope,
2) To focus, rotate the metal ring (2) until you have obtained the clea-
rest image possible..
3) ZOOM: rotate the metal ring (3) in order to vary the magnification
from 15x to 40x. Increased magnification requires adjustment of the
focus.
4) Choice of magnification; with an increased magnification there is a
decrease in luminosity and a reduction of the magnified area.
Always begin observation at a low magnification and increase steadily
until the best magnification, compatible with the observed subject and
its enviroment is achieved .

MAINTENANCE:
• Store your equipment in a safe, dry place, ensuring that it is covered
and protected from dust. • Avoid touching the lenses with dirty fin-
gers as the salt and moisture contained in the skin could damage the
lenses.• Do not clean the optic parts if it is not absolutely necessary
to do so, as they might suffer damage.• For cleaning of the lenses, we
recommend a soft cloth. In the case of more ingrained dirt, use a soft
cloth, without any artificial fibres, soaked with alcohol or ether.
WARRANTY KONUS
This product is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of two years. The guarantee does not
cover defects caused by: • incorrect use of the instrument • accidental knocks and/or falls • normal wear
and tear of parts • mishandling and or undue force • repairs effected by unauthorised persons. Complete the
guarantee by filling in the model and the date of purchase in the space provided. Attach the till receipt to the
guarantee.
If it is necessary to return the instrument for repair/replacement, pack it carefully and send it carriage paid
home to the distributor listed below
The goods will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of the distributor. In the interests of a more efficient
service, please enclose a letter giving your full address and telephone number and giving full details of the
defects of the instrument.

MONTAGE:
1) het statief (1) aan de verrekijker vastschroeven,
2) Om scherp te stellen de ring (2) draaien om een zo helder mogelijk
beeld te krijgen.
3) ZOOM: de ring (3) draaien om vergrotingen te verkrijgen van 15x
-40x. Voor elke nieuwe vergroting moet men opnieuw scherpstellen.
4) Keuze van de vergroting: als de vergroting toeneemt, wordt de hel-
derheid minder en neemt het vergrootte beeldvlak af.
Als men de waarneming begint, probeert men eerst kleine vergrotin-
gen om die langzaam toe te laten nemen, totdat de beste vergroting
ten opzichte van het waargenomen subject en de weersomstandighe-
den gevonden is.

ONDERHOUD:
• Bewaar het instrument op een droge veilige plaats, en bescherm het
tegen stof. • Raak de lenzen nooit met de vingers aan want vet en zout
zouden de lens kunnen beschadigen. • Maak de optische onderdelen
niet schoon indien niet absoluut noodzakelijk, ook dit kan onnodig
schaden. • Om de lenzen schoon te houden is een zachte tissue vol-
doende. • Als de lenzen echt vuil zijn kan men een stukje stof (zonder
kunstmatige vezels) met een beetje ether of alcohol volstaan.
GARANTIE KONUS
Op dit produkt geldt een garantie van twee jaar voor evt. fabrieksfouten. Onder deze garantie vallen geen
defecten die veroorzaakt zijn door: •een onjuist gebruik van het instrument • per ongeluk vallen, of stoten •
normale slijtage van de componenten • geforceerd en/of foutief gebruik •reparaties door onbevoegd perso-
neel • De garantiebon invullen in de daarvoor bestemde ruimte met de datum van aanschaf.
Voeg bij het garantiebewijs ook de aankoopbon. Voor een eventuele reparatie/vervanging het artikel goed
verpakken en goed gefrankeerd terugsturen naar uw distributeur:
De distributeur zal beslissen of het produkt vervangen of gerepareerd zal worden. Voor een goede dien-
stverlening a. u. b. een brief bijsluiten voorzien van adresgegevens en telefoonnummer met een beschrijving
van de defecten van het instrument.
