MEDICAL WARNING
If you have had oral or gum surgery lately, please consult your
dentist before using the device.
When you start any new oral hygiene program, your gums may
initially bleed slightly. Consult your dentist if excessive bleeding
continues after 10 days.
Do not use mouthwashes or rinses that contain iodine, hydrogen
peroxide or tree oil.
Do not use while wearing oral jewellery. Remove prior to use.
Do not use if you have an open wound on your tongue or in your mouth.
If your physician or cardiologist has advised you to receive antibi-
otic premedication before a dental procedure, you should consult
your dentist before using this oral hygiene aid.
Do not remove the flexible tip on either the massage or the sub-
gingival attachments. If it separates for any reason, discard both
the tip and shaft and replace them with new attachments.
Be sure that only the water jet tips touch your teeth, gums or
tongue. Damage to those areas may occur if any other part of the
handle touches them.
Do not direct water under the tongue, into the ear, nose or other del-
icate areas. This product can produce pressures that can damage
sensitive areas. See Recommended Technique for correct usage.
Use only for oral hygiene cleaning. Do not use for any other
purpose.
As with any new oral hygiene program, individuals with heart prob-
lems should check with their physician prior to using new medical
devices.
FLOSSERPIK complies with safety standards for electromagnetic
devices. If you have a pace-maker or other implanted device, con-
tact your doctor or the manufacturer of the implanted device.
Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the
device and save it for future reference.
