BEFORE FIRST USE
Immerse the mixer stand in a mixing bowl or other high-sided container filled with clean
water. Turn on the appliance by pressing the on/off button for 30 seconds (grinding).
Then wipe the body of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth and wash the blades with warm
water and dish soap. Rinse with clean water and thoroughly dry using a soft cloth.
Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for cleaning precautions.
This hand-held mixer is particularly suitable for making soups, sauces, mayonnaise and
baby food.
It is not suitable for hard and dry foods and should not be used to make crushed ice.
1. Plug the power cord into a wall socket.
2. Insert the mixer vertically into a mixing bowl or other high-sided container.
NOTE: To avoid splashing, turn on the appliance only when the mixer foot is inserted into
the mixing bowl.
3. To turn on the appliance, press and hold the on/off button.

WARNING ! Do not put a spatula or other utensils into the container during
operation. You may insert a spatula or other utensil into the container only
when the appliance is stopped.
Do not use the appliance for more than 15 seconds empty (without power) or more than
2 minutes continuously (see paragraph "Operating intervals").
Allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes before reusing .
4. At the end of use, unplug the appliance from the power socket
NOTE: Between two preparations, you can rinse the blades by inserting the mixer foot into a
high-sided container with clean water. Run the appliance for a few seconds.
PRACTICAL TIPS FOR USE
•
Cut the food into small pieces before mixing.
•
If you have to mix large quantities of ingredients, proceed in small portions.
•
If you want to mix fruits and/or vegetables, add water to the mix to facilitate mixing.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•
Before cleaning your mixer, unplug it from the power outlet and wait until the motor
unit has cooled down sufficiently before putting it away.
•
Never immerse the motor unit, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
•
Wipe the body of the appliance with a slightly damp sponge. Take care to ensure that
water does not enter the appliance through the ventilation holes.
•
The whisks can be washed in the dishwasher. You can also clean them with a soft
sponge, warm water and dish soap. Rinse with clean water, and then dry using a soft
cloth.
•
Remove any food residue remaining on the power cord with a soft, dry cloth.
•
Never use abrasive detergents or scouring sponges for cleaning.
