difference, the diaphragm bulges to the side of the
lower pressure.
The movement of the diaphragm is indicated by a
mechanism. At the same time, switching contacts
are actuated, or the movement is converted into an
electrical output signal via a sensor. The devices are
protected against overload. The diaphragm is sup-
ported against the housing wall for protection
against extreme pressure differences.
The devices are mounted on the wall with fastening
elements to be provided by the customer. Connec-
tion of the device to the pressure measurement
points is established with copper pipes, ∅ 6 mm. The
connections are configured as cutting ring unions.
The installation of three-way pressure gauge valves
is recommended. The measuring lines should be laid
from the sensor to the measuring points at an incline
so that air pockets in the lines can escape. Other-
wise, a venting option must be provided on the
device.

The DDA is suitable for many measurement tasks in
the fields of industrial and sanitary measuring tech-
nology.

The DDS is mainly used as a two-point controller for
the Wilo-AS control devices.
The switching point can be continuously controlled
between 15 % and 100 % of the full scale value by
means of the control button.
