• Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
CAUTION: Disposal
• For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its use-
ful life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in
accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any
questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
• The empty, completely at batteries must be disposed of through specially designated collection
boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
• The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = Battery contains lead,
Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
Hg = Battery contains mercury.

3. Initial use

• Check the device for damage.

3.1 Inserting the batteries

• If present, pull the battery insulating strip o the battery compartment cover or remove the battery's protective
lm and insert the battery according to the polarity.
• The batteries are located in the mirror. Turn the normal side of the mirror anti-clockwise and remove the co-
ver from the mirror. Then open the battery compartment lid. Now you can remove the plastic insulating strip or
change the batteries.
3.2 Operation
• To switch the light on and o , brie y touch the touch sensor on the normal mirror surface.
• To adjust the light intensity, touch the touch sensor until you reach the required brightness.
• The standard side or the magni ed side of the mirror can be used. Simply rotate the mirror to the required side.

4. Care and storage

• Switch o the device each time before cleaning.
• First unplug the device and allow it to cool o . Then you can clean it with a soft, slightly moistened cloth. Then
wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Only clean the appliance in the manner speci ed. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the
device or accessories.
• Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
• Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.
