NOTE: When cooking in this mode, always monitor the food to ensure it does not become
overcooked. Always use kitchen cloths or gloves to avoid burning yourself.
ROASTING
When the oven is in roasting mode, only the upper heating element will function. Adjust the
temperature to brown the upper part of the food or to roast chops or fillets.
1. We would advise you always to preheat the oven for 15 minutes with the door closed before
roasting food to achieve the best results.
. Position the food on the wire shelf and always have the drip/baking tray underneath to collect
any fat that drips.
3. The timer must be set to the "I" position, or select the time required, up to 15 minutes, depending
on the type of food to be cooked.
4. When cooking meat or fish, cook it on one side first of all so that the food browns on one side
and then turn it over until it is cooked to your satisfaction. Baste both sides with melted butter
or olive oil.
Tip: when roasting fish or meat, cook it first with the skin side uppermost. It is not necessary to
turn over a fillet of fish or lobster tails. You only need to cook these with one side uppermost.
DEFROSTING
1. Do not forget to put the drip/baking tray under the wire shelf when defrosting.

Put the food directly onto the shelf. Remove all paper or plastic wrapping. The temperature
must be set to between 65-120ºC, and the timer set to the "I" position. The oven does not need
to be preheated. The time necessary for defrosting depends on the weight, type and nature of
the food. If the food is thick and heavy, the temperature should be set to 10ºC, and the timer
set to for the appropriate length of time. The food has to be turned over. The oven temperature
should not be set too high, as the food could be burnt. If the food can be cut easily with a knife,
the defrosting process is complete. Cook the food immediately after defrosting it.
BAKING (FOR BISCUITS, BUNS, PIZZAS AND BREAD)
1. When baking, put the drip/baking tray on the shelf. Put the food in the drip/baking tray after
preheating the oven for 10 minutes. The recommended temperature is approximately 175ºC.
2. Put the timer in the "I" position or set the timer for up to 15 minutes.
3. When baking, the upper and lower heating elements will switch on and off to keep the
temperature constant.
4. When baking is finished, turn the timer to the "O" position.
5. Remove the food from the oven carefully.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before starting to clean the oven, unplug it and let it cool down completely.
. Clean all the accessories with water and a mild detergent, including the wire shelf and the drip/
baking tray.
3. Submerge the accessories in water to completely clean them. Do not use abrasive cleaners,
scrubbing brushes or chemical cleaners, as they could damage the non-stick lining of the drip/
baking tray.
4. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the inside of the oven.
5. To clean the door, use a damp cloth with detergent or soap.
6. Never submerge the oven in water.

7. Pull out the crumb collecting tray. Clean the inside of the tray with a damp cloth. Once it is clean,
position it in the lower part of the oven and push it in.
8. Use a brush to clean the two metal covers that cover the heating elements.
9. After cleaning the parts, slide the wire shelf into the grooves inside the oven and position the
drip/baking tray in the guides in the wire shelf.
10. Do not use steel wool to clean the surfaces.
