3.6 Analysis duration and sampling time
Wireless mode
With BOD EVO Sensor an analysis can last from 5 to
30 days. The sampling time can be selected depending
on the desired duration of the analysis:
5-day test: 0,5 - 1 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 12 - 24 h
Longer test: 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 12 - 24 h
3.7 Alarms
AL1 Calibration error. Restart the analysis. If the problem persists contact the service.
Analysis start denied. Check on BODSoft™.
AL2
AL3 Max. sensors q.ty reached. 80 analyses are already in progress. Wait the end.
No PC response. Check the distance between the EVO Sensor and the Wireless DataBox™.
AL5
AL8 Data sending failed. Restart the analysis. If the problem persists contact the service.
No PC response. Check if the BODSoft™ is active and if the Wireless DataBox™ connected.
AL9
bAt Low battery (wireless mode OFF). Remove the batteries with the fingers and replace them with new ones paying
attention to the polarity indicated inside the instrument.
Err Calibration error (wireless mode OFF).

4. Maintenance

BOD EVO Sensor warns about the required change of batteries when the unit is resetted and the charge is lower than a
minimum threshold. Using a coin lever in the rear part of BOD EVO Sensor and open it. Batteries are removed using the
fingers. Introduce two fresh batteries at the same time paying attention to the polarity. Battery replacement deletes any
stored value.

1. Introduzione
La determinazione del valore di BOD con BOD EVO Sensor si basa sul metodo respirometrico che fornisce una
misurazione diretta dell'ossigeno consumato dai microorganismi presenti o inoculati nel campione contenuto in un ambiente
chiuso, ad una temperatura costante (20 °C ± 0.5) e sotto agitazione costante.
2. Montaggio ed installazione
Verificare l'integrità dello strumento al ricevimento. Gli elementi contenuti nell'imballo sono i seguenti:
● BOD EVO Sensor
BOD EVO Sensor è fornito con due batterie al litio già installate: sfilare la linguetta che fuoriesce dalla parte posteriore dello
strumento per attivarlo.
3. Controlli di funzionamento
Normalmente il display del BOD EVO Sensor è spento per ottimizzare i consumi delle batterie interne. Alla pressione di un
tasto si attiva istantaneamente e si spegne automaticamente dopo tre secondi. I tasti hanno diverse funzioni a seconda che
il BOD EVO Sensor stia effettuando o meno il ciclo di misure o che si trovi nella modalità memorie o che si trovi nella
modalità wireless o non wireless. A display spento e senza analisi in essere, quando il BOD EVO Sensor si trova in modalità
wireless mostra il simbolo
