21.3 Ring tone (melody and volume) (Ring Setup)
You can choose the ring tone for incoming calls from the telephone network
(RING EXT) as well as the ring tone from the door unit or other handsets
registered at the same base (RING INT) and adjust its volume.

Use and key to select "HS Settings".

Press the "Select" key. "Alarm" appears.

Use and key to select "Ring Setup".

Press the "Select" key.

Use or key to select "INT Ring" or "EXT Ring".

Use or key to select "Melody" or "Volume".

Press the "Select" key.

Use or key to select a ring tone from melody 1 to 10 or adjust
the volume from 1 to 5 or switch it off completely ("Volume Off"). When
setting the ring tone or the volume, the telephone will sound the selected
melody or ring with the chosen volume.

21.4 Setting key tones (Tone Setup)
Key Tone
Each depression of a key can be confirmed by the handset with a tone. This
tone can be tuned off.
Reception range
The handset issues a warning sound when it is outside the reception range of
the base. This sound can be tuned off.

Press the "Menu" key.

Use and key to select "HS Settings".

Press the "Select" key. "Alarm" appears.

Use and key to select "Tone Setup".

Press the "Select" key.
!
Use and key to select "Key Tone" or "Range Alarm".

Press the key again. The display shows the current setting.

Use or key to select "On" or "Off", to enable or disable the
function.

Press the "Save" key.

For normal use, we recommend you leave the key tones enabled. This
makes the phone easier to use.

In certain conditions, a warning tone will sound when an incorrect key is
pressed. This warning tone cannot be disabled in "Range Alarm".

21.5 Selecting a language on the display (Language)
The handset supports several predefined languages: English,
Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish
language of the display texts as follows:

Press the "Select" key. The display shows the current setting.

Use or key to select a language. Each language is displayed

21.6 Handset name ( HS Name)
The default name of the supplied components is HS 1 (handset) and HS 2
(door unit). The default name of a handset or a door unit after registration is
"HS N". The number N = 1 to 5 indicates the order in which the device has
been registered to the base. The name is displayed in standby mode.
Each handset can be named for easier identification:

Press the "Select" key.

Enter the name of the handset (max. 12 digits) with the alphanumeric

When you make an internal call to another handset, "HS N Calling" will
appear on this handset instead of the name given by you.
21.7 Automatic answering (Auto Answer)
This function allows you to answer a call by simply picking up the handset,
without pressing any key.
