• To open the battery compartment, remove the screw (5) on the back of the
device.
• Pull the plastic cover downwards and open the battery compartment.
• Insert 3 1.5V AA type batteries. Make sure that the polarity is correct (see the
bottom of the battery compartment or the marking on the outer casing)! If the
device is not used for a long period of time, the batteries are to be removed
from the battery compartment to avoid the „spillage" of the battery acid.
• Close the device by proceeding in the opposite order. Do not throw the used
batteries in the domestic waste. Make sure that the old batteries are disposed
of in an environment-friendly way.
• Switch on the device with the VOLUME - On/Off knob (7) and turn clockwise
until the desired volume is set.
• The desired frequency band (FM/AM) can be set with the band selector switch
(8).
• Turn the TUNING knob (2) to set the desired broadcasting station.
• Shut off the device after use with the regulator (7).
The device is spray water proof. It can hence be used also in the shower. Please
use the hook on the device to hang it up.
• Clean the device with a moist cloth and dry it well.
• Do not use abrasive detergents!
• If the device is not used for a long period of time (a few months), the battery is
to be removed from the battery compartment to avoid the „spillage" of the bat-
tery acid.
This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines,
such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been
constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.
