INTENDED USE
The AxSYM CA 19-9 Calibrators are for the calibration of the AxSYM System when used
for the quantitative measurement of 1116-NS-19-9 reactive determinants in human serum.
Refer to the AxSYM System Operations Manual for additional information.
CONTENTS
6 Bottles (4 mL each) of AxSYM CA 19-9 Calibrators. Calibrator A is TRIS buffer with
protein stabilizers. Calibrators B-F contain 1116-NS-19-9 reactive determinants (human) in
TRIS buffer with protein stabilizers to yield the following assay values:

STANDARDIZATION
The calibrators are matched to an Abbott internal reference standard. This internal
reference standard is manufactured by dilution using a CA 19-9 stock solution containing
1116-NS-19-9 reactive determinants at each concentration level.

CAUTION: This product contains human sourced infectious and/or potentially
infectious components. Refer to the CONTENTS section of this package insert. No known
test method can offer complete assurance that products derived from human sources
or inactivated microorganisms will not transmit infection. Therefore, it is recommended
that all human sourced materials be considered potentially infectious and handled with
appropriate biosafety practices.

Calibrators are stable until the expiration date when stored and handled as directed. Do
not use past expiration date.

This product contains sodium azide. Contact with acids liberates very toxic gas. This
material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way.

STANDARDISIERUNG
Die Kalibratoren sind auf einen internen Abbott Referenzstandard eingestellt. Dieser
interne Referenzstandard wird für jede Konzentration unter Verwendung einer CA 19-9
Stammlösung mit Antigendeterminanten 1116-NS-19-9 durch Verdünnung hergestellt.

Gase. Abfälle und Behälter müssen in gesicherter Weise beseitigt werden.

DOMAINE D'APPLICATION
Les AxSYM CA 19-9 Calibrators sont utilisés pour la calibration de l'AxSYM lors de la

COMPOSITION
