1. Intended use
The "Cost Control" provides a simple way to monitor the power consumption and
electrical cost of electrical appliances. The measure range is from 10 to 3600 Watts.
Even though the device is very accurate, it is not officially certified for the account of
cost of electricity between power supplier and consumer.
The device is only authorised to be connected to mains outlet (230V/50Hz) with
protective ground. Only power loads with a
power supply of 230V AC 50Hz may be connected.
The device is only authorised to use in dry indoor, outdoor use is forbidden.
Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the
appliance and lead to associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, et
cetera. No part of the product should be modified or rebuilt.
Please read all safety instructions contained in these operating instructions and
keep these for future reference.

7. Disposal
Dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment

In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment,

protect human health and utilise natural resources prudently and

rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to relevant
facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.

The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed

separately and not as municipal waste.

Used batteries/ accumulators disposal

The user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and

accumulators. Disposing used batteries in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/ accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked
with the crossed-out wheeled bin. The symbol indicates that the product
is forbidden to be disposed via the domestic refuse. The chemical
symbols for the respective hazardous substances are Cd = Cadmium, Hg
= Mercury, Pb = Lead.
You can return used batteries/ accumulators free of charge to any
collecting point of your local authority, our stores or where batteries/
accumulators are sold.
Consequently you comply with your legal obligations and contribute to environmental
protection!
