18. Whenever the connection between the sensor mat and the BU is lost, the text
MAT LINK LOST will show up on the LCD along with an alarm. Under such
circumstances, the parent is unable to monitor the breathing pace of baby and the
icon starts flashing.

The link lost can be caused by one of the following:
a. The sensor mat is switched OFF.
b. The battery of the sensor mat has run low.
c. The distance between BU and sensor mat has exceeded 10m
N.B. The link lost alarm will not be triggered if the BU is not paired to any sensor
mat.
19. The condition of the Li battery pack is shown by the battery status indicator
. When the battery is discharging, the blocks within the indicator gradually fall.
Once the indicator becomes empty
LOW will show on the LCD whilst an alarm plays, reminding the parents to charge
the battery using the charger stand.
20. The parent can monitor the battery of the BU as well as the sensor mat (if a mat
is paired with the BU) using the battery status indicator
within the indicator disappear, it will start flashing and the text BATTERY LOW
will display, along with an alarm being played, reminding the parent to replace the
batteries.
