STEPLADDER
Introduction
To get the most out of your new stepladder,
please read through these instructions
before use. Please also save the instructions
in case you need to refer to them at a later
date.

Special safety instructions

Before each use, perform a visual check to
ensure that the stepladder is not damaged
and that it is safe to use.
If the stepladder is damaged or there are
parts missing, do not make temporary repairs
to it. If the stepladder is defective, it must be
disposed of.
Avoid dirt or similar getting on the
stepladder, e.g. wet paint, mud, oil or snow.
Wear clean shoes. Do not wear loose-fi tting
shoes or shoes with smooth soles.
Identify any electrical risks in the work
area, e.g. live wires or uninsulated electrical
equipment. Use non-conductive ladders if
you are carrying out electrical work and it is
not possible to switch off the power.
Open the stepladder and secure it in this
position, if possible.

The stepladder must be placed on a fl at, level
and solid surface. Never place the stepladder
on other objects to increase its height. Never
place the stepladder in front of a door that
opens in towards the ladder.
Stand in the middle of the steps.
Never lean out over the side of the
stepladder.
Never overload the stepladder. The
stepladder is designed for use by 1 person at
max. 150 kg
a time.
Do not move the stepladder while you or
someone else is standing on it.
Do not let children play on the stepladder.
The stepladder must be stored and
transported in a clean, dry and safe
condition.
Do not store anything on the stepladder.
