The precautions in this booklet specifically for facial treatment do not replace the precautions in the main booklet on the INSTANT SOFT COMPACT – these

remain valid and they must be read completely before any use.
Only glasses delivered with this product are adapted to protect your eyes while using the INSTANT SOFT COMPACT on your face.
If at any time the INSTANT SOFT COMPACT is used on the face without the glasses provided or with another type of glasses,
the manufacturer is no longer liable. The glasses provided must only be used with the INSTANT SOFT COMPACT device.

CONDITIONS OF USE

• Treatment areas
The INSTANT SOFT COMPACT device may be used to treat facial hair: cheeks, upper lip and chin.
However, INSTANT SOFT COMPACT must not be used to remove hair from the eyebrows, eyelashes or scalp.
You must carry out an initial tolerance test before performing the first facial treatment.
Perform this test with an intensity setting of 1 on an area of the body away from the face but with a similar skin colour. 24 hours
after doing this test, inspect the state of the treated area. It should not be red in any way, the skin should neither be sensitive or
swollen, and you should not feel any discomfort in this area.
If the test is fine, you can use the appliance on the face with the same setting.
• Recommendations for use:
- Remove any cosmetics, lotion or cream from the area that you wish to treat.
- Put on the pair of glasses included.
- Adjust the glasses so that they are snug against your face.
- For the face, set the device to the lowest possible light intensity: level 1, and do this no matter what your
skin or hair colour may be.
- The front surface must be laid flat on the area to be treated.
• Using your appliance
- Do not treat the same skin area more than once during one and the same hair removal session. Treatment in the same
place can lead to side effects.
- Do not apply any cosmetics before or during treatment. Preliminary cleaning of the skin.
- Do not use the device on tanned skin or after recent exposure to the sun.
- Do not expose the treated areas to the sun.
- Protect the treated skin (with clothes covering the face or SPF 50 minimum sun-screen) during the whole treatment
period, and at least two weeks after the last hair removal session.
WARNING: Avoid any contact with
the lips and nostrils. In order to treat
the area above the upper lip, pinch
the lips before applying the product.
- Facial use of the INSTANT SOFT COMPACT is not suitable for men.
- Treatment of facial and neck areas using pulsed light technology
may cause increased growth and number of hair in certain indivi-
duals («paradoxical regrowth» phenomenon) (groups at higher risk
are women originating from the Mediterranean, the Middle East or
South Asia).
