OZONE GENERATOR

Safety Instructions
The device generates ozone. Ozone is very toxic and must not be inhaled!
Installation of the timer and the clock
• During operation or before the ozone content of the treated room has returned to
normal, the room must not be entered!
• Disregard can lead to serious damage to health!
• During operation, neither people, animals, plants or other living beings may be in the
treated rooms!
• After switching on the unit, leave the room immediately.
• If necessary, the entrance of the room to be treated must be sealed in such a way
that the escape of ozone is prevented. Furthermore, the ozone treatment of this room
must be marked for other people and the room must be sealed off
Ozone generators contain high voltage elements.
Before opening the housing, the mains plug must be pulled
otherwise there is danger to life.
This unit is supplied with a grounding cable.
It is strictly prohibited to bypass the grounding or to connect the unit to a
non-grounded power supply.
• Under no circumstances may the device be operated as long as the housing is not
correctly attached or missing.
• The unit has a fan with air filter. The air inlet and air outlet must always be kept free
and must not be blocked. A minimum distance to objects and walls of approx. 30 cm
must be maintained.
• Never cover the unit during operation or remove it from its operating location.
• Never insert foreign objects into the unit.
• The unit must not be exposed to direct streams of water, rain or moisture. If water or
liquid enters the unit, switch it off and have it checked by qualified personnel before
further use.
• Make sure that the unit adjusts to the room temperature before use. Condensation
may form.
• Any other operation or operation other than that described in these instructions is
not permitted. Non-observance will invalidate any product liability and any claim
under the warranty.
Safety regulations for the operation
of ozone generators in closed rooms
Ozone must not be inhaled!
It causes a reduction in the lungs,
which often lasts for several days!
In Germany, the meteorological limit value for ozone was 120 mg/m³. The MAK value
(maximum working concentration) applicable in Germany is currently 0.1 ppm or 0.2
mg ozone/m³. Other limit values may apply for operation outside the Federal Republic
of Germany.
