Product specification • USB standards: USB 2.0 • Data transfer rate: 480 Mbps (theoretical) • Power voltage: 5 V DC via USB port • Power consumption: 500 mA How to safely remove CardGuard Pro To properly disconnect CardGuard Pro from your computer, disable the device before unplugging it from the computer. The methods of disabling the device vary based on the operating system of your computer. Refer to the instruction manual of your computer for details. Warning: Unplugging CardGuard Pro from your computer before properly deactivating it may result in data loss. For Windows OS: Click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon which is located in the system tray in bottom right corner of the desktop, click the hardware device named “USB Mass Storage Device” and click the “Stop” button in order to cease the card reader’s operation. You will see a confirmation message telling you that it’s safe to remove the device. Then unplug CardGuard Pro from the computer.
