4. Before Installation/Commissioning

The product must only be used outside its packaging.

Take the product carefully out of the packaging.

Make sure that the product has not been damaged during transport before putting the light into operation.
You must not use the product if there is any damage to electrical parts. Repairs may only be carried out
by a qualified electrician.

Keep packaging materials away from children and pets. Asphyxiation hazard!
5. Installation/Commissioning

This product can only be installed by a qualified electrician.

The connection lines in the building must be disconnected before installation and secured against being
switched back on. For this, trip the corresponding fuse switch in the building installation.

Make sure that the surface is suitable for permanently and reliably taking the weight of the light.

Hold the product at the required assembly position and mark the drill holes. Use appropriate screws to fix
the product. Make sure that no lines are damaged.

Now connect the building installation's connection lines to the screw terminals on the product. Connect
the green-yellow protective conductor first and then the other two cables. The brown (or black) cable is
generally the phase conductor - connect this to the terminal marked with "L1" (L2 and L3 can also be
allocated in case of several phases). The blue conductor must be connected to the terminal marked with
"N".

Do not mount the product below 2 m ceiling height.

Do not bend the cables; make sure that the cables and plugs are not subject to tension or torsional
forces. Protect all cables and insulation against possible damages.

Check proper connection once again.

Switch the building installation's fuse switch back on.

Light does not switch on

Light/lamp defective?

Check the connected lines?

Is the supply connected correctly?
